Salisbury - A tale of two cities

In this part we will explore both the city and cathedral to discover Salisbury's history through its wonderful ancient buildings. We shall see how most of Salisbury's splendour was created between 1200 and 1600 by crafty, rich Bishops. We shall encounter a giant, a whiffler and harlots and see how merchants helped make the city very wealthy. There will be head banging, a murder and several gory executions.
