About the event

This cinema screening is for people who have disabilities or SEN.

Sophie Sheridan, the twenty-year-old bride to be, stumbles across her mother’s diary which identifies Sam Carmichael (Pierce Brosnan), Harry Bright (Colin Firth), or Bill Anderson (Stellan Skarsgård) could be her father.

Sophie dreams on having her father walking her down the aisle on her wedding day, so she invites all three men to her mother’s hotel on the Greek Island Kalokairi. She believes that she will instantly recognise her father out of the three men.

Donna Sheridan (Meryl Streep) runs a simple hotel on the island and used to get up to mischief with her best friends Rosie Mulligan (Dame Julie Walters) and Tanya Wilkinson (Christine Baranski), who are also attending Sophie’s.

When Donna sees her former three lovers together in her hotel, she gets stressed and confused with the situation.

The film includes hits from ABBA and will have you tapping to the beat!
