Story Writing Competition
Once you’ve walked the trail we’re asking the children to write a story using the characters they meet along the trail.
Entries should be submitted to info@wbcommunitytrust.co.uk or placed in the box at Café Hogmoor.
The deadline for entries is the Sunday 15th November 2020.
There is no minimum or maximum number of words, we would love to see stories for children of all ages and abilities.
We will be picking 3 of our favourite stories to be printed and created into a real book!

Troll, Fairy and Hog Design Competition
To celebrate the start of the trail we will be decorating the inside of Café Hogmoor with different images of fairies, trolls and hogs, drawn by local children. We will then choose a few of the designs to be enlarged and feature in the story trail.
We’ve been in touch with some of the local schools and some of their students are taking part, however if your child isn’t already creating a character (or wants to do another!) we would welcome their designs.
The drawings should include their first name and age and a contact name and number on the back so we can contact you if one of your children’s images are to feature in the trail.
All the entries will be displayed, and we hope that the children will be able to visit the Café over half term to see their drawings on the wall.
