"A fruit Tree for GU35 Gardens"

In February 2024, Whitehill & Bordon Community Trust, (WBCT) were delighted to be able to launch our first “Fruit Tree for every Garden” project. An opportunity for residents in the GU35 area to enhance their own gardens.

With funding received as part of East Hampshire Districts Council’s Grow Up program and funding from the government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund, we were able to offer over 60 assorted apple trees. Southern Fruit Trees, a local supplier was on site during collection, offering guidance on how to care for the trees.

2024, was the first time WBCT have offered this scheme to our residents. Due to the overwhelming success, we will be looking to repeat this project in 2025.

So follow our updates on https://www.wb-ct.org/projects for next years “Fruit Tree for Every Garden”
